About the Workshop
Creative tiny foundational letterforms and Roman capitals using the versatile pointed pen will be our focus for this workshop.
Suzie says, "We will begin our study working with monoline forms, then use the pointed pen. We will look at variations and how to achieve details while reducing the x-height of our letters. The Roman hand is a long-time love of mine. I have gravitated to the Roman minuscules as well as majuscules for their versatility and elegance. As I often work with small letterforms, the pointed pen is the tool that helps provide the refinement and elegance I am looking for. I’m excited to share with you the delight in creating these delicate and charming letterforms."
