Thirty pieces of calligraphic art by a dozen Pen Dragons Calligraphy Guild members are on display at People's Church, 1758 North 10th Street, Kalamazoo, for the months of November and December 2023. Pen Dragons members were asked to submit work reflecting themes such as spirituality, kindness, love of nature, meditation or prayer. Their work displays a variety of lettering styles, or “hands,” and a wide range of media: ink, paint, pencil, collage, and more. Guild members have exhibited their work in and around the Kalamazoo area and southwest Michigan for decades, but this is their first exhibit at People’s Church.
