If you have taken an Italic class before but haven't practiced for a while, this class is for you!  In this continuation of Beginning Italic, we will review the basic concepts of lowercase italic letters, then focus on capital formation, flourishes, and the use of colored gouache. The concepts of calligraphic design will be introduced and practiced. The students will then collaborate to produce a book, with a copy for each participant. There will be a $15 materials fee, payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
