About the Workshop

The world needs a bit more sparkle and magic in it...so why not use mica to brighten it up? It is such a versatile medium and adds a touch of elegance to all that we do.

Since mica can be used in numerous applications, we will focus on how it can suit our needs as calligraphers/artists...including lettering, design work and sometimes, just adding a touch of elegance in the work we are doing. This workshop will include practicality and elements of design.

Exercises include: color mixing, making custom color charts, learning about consistency and why that is important. Using different tools from metal nibs to brushes, we will push these amazing products to their limits and discover how much they have to offer.

COST FOR THIS ONE-DAY WORKSHOP IS $55.00 for members (must renew by Sept 1st, 2023)
